Elaine Needham

Director / Solicitor

Elaine qualified as a solicitor in 1991, and thereafter quickly became a well respected practitioner in the criminal courts of North London and further afield. She is a duty solicitor, a member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Panel and an experienced Higher Rights Advocate, regularly representing clients appearing before the Crown Court. Her experience has been called upon for many years as the defence representative on local user groups for the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.

She has concentrated on criminal defence and mental health work throughout her career, and as a result of her vast experience in both fields is able to effectively represent clients with mental disorders who find themselves before the criminal courts. She is approachable and sympathetic, and has helped countless vulnerable people through the court process. She prides herself in leaving no stone unturned in defence of her clients.

As a result of her Mental Health Panel membership, she can continue to represent clients detained under the Mental Health Act, and has done so successfully for many years.

Elaine’s experience and reputation is quite simply second to none.
