Deborah is the supervisor of our mental health department.
She was admitted as a solicitor in 2000 and has since practised in criminal, mental health, human rights and judicial review law. In 2004 she became an accredited member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Panel. She has amassed a wealth of experience specialising in forensic mental health law and practice.
Deborah works extensively with her clients who find themselves as patients in low, medium and high security hospitals and advises, assists and represents them at their Care Programme Approach Meetings, Hospital Managers’ Hearings and Mental Health Tribunals.
Much admired by her colleagues and clients alike, Deborah leads the team by example: providing her clients with clear, calm advice and robustly advancing their cases on their behalf.
